Man sentenced to 10 years for brother's murder

A 22-year-old man was convicted on Friday to ten years in prison for the murder of his older brother at a barbecue party in the small southern town of Tomelilla last summer.
This was the second time the man's trial was heard at Ystad District Court. Last year he was found guilty of murdering his brother, but the case was reopened when the defence cited new evidence.
The outcome however was the same. On this occasion the court was also shown a filmed reconstruction of the sequence of events leading to the moment at the barbecue party when the man stabbed his brother to death.
