Man drove car into wedding party

A man is being pursued by police after he drove a car into a crowd at a wedding reception in Stockholm. One person is in a life-threatening condition in hospital.

The incident happened in the northern suburb of Akalla on Saturday night. It followed a row between guests at the wedding.

A number of people had gathered outside the restaurant at which the reception was being held. The man then got into a car and drove straight into the crowd.

The man then disappeared from the scene.

One person sustained very serious injuries, said by police to be life-threatening. He is being treated at Stockholm's Karolinska University Hospital.
