Murder accused 'has mental problem'

A 27-year-old man being prosecuted for the murder of 8-year-old Tobias Enroth in the small Swedish town of Norrahammar at the end of January is suffering from a serious psychiatric disorder, according to doctors.
The man is to go on trial on Thursday for Enroth's murder in a frenzied attack on a street in the town. Enroth sustained around 40 stab wounds in the attack.
Psychiatrists who carried out the examination on behalf of the court said there was a risk that the man would offend again. They said he needed to be deprived of his freedom while undergoing treatment.
