A female security guard is suspected of faking the robbery in April of the secure cash delivery vehicle she was driving.

The woman said she was robbed in Årsta, southern Stockholm. She claimed to have been tied at the hands and the feet and locked in the vehicle. She is now suspected of setting up the whole incident together with her friends. Expressen writes.

The woman, 30, was remanded in custody on Wednesday, suspected of theft. The woman's 33-year-old friend has been arrested on suspicion of being an accessory. A further woman was arrested but later released.

The two women in custody deny any wrongdoing.
