Sweden trains new child porn police
A new corps of 70 Swedish police officers are to be given special training to deal with child pornography, it has been announced.
The officers will be drawn from police staff who currently work as investigators in cases of violent crime and family-related crime, Svenska Dagbladet reports.
The police officers will work on investigating and classifying confiscated photos and films. They will also work proactively to identify the producers and distributors of child pornography.
Police also intend to update their technology and their reference library of material about child pornography.
