Twelve-year-old boy dies in fire
A twelve-year-old boy has died as a result of injuries sustained in a fire at an apartment near Timrå in northern Sweden.
Emergency services received reports of a blaze on the top floor of an apartment building at 6am on Tuesday morning.
The family living in the apartment - a father, mother and their two children - were taken to Sundsvall Hospital to be treated for smoke-related injuries.
The 12-year-old's father was seriously injured in the blaze, while the remaining family members were treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
