Man dies in gang fight

A man has died from the fatal stab wounds he incurred during a gang fight in Alvesta in southern Sweden on Wednesday night. A 31-year-old man has been arrested ion suspicion of having carried out the attack.
Shortly before 2am police received reports of a disturbance at Rönedalsvägen.
Around thirty people are thought to have been involved in the fight, the cause of which has not yet been established.

Sweden could be allowed to keep ID controls on its border with Denmark beyond the current end date of November, following discussions among EU leaders in Brussels last night.
