Inspectors close OMX investigation

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Finansinspektionen (FI), said it has not found that OMX AB took any 'prohibited protective measures' against any the bids it received from Borse Dubai or Nasdaq, and has closed its investigation into the matter.
It said furthermore that it received today an offer document for approval and an ownership application from Borse Dubai for OMX, and that corresponding assessments are currently underway for Nasdaq.
The handling period for Borse Dubai's offer document is expected to be 10 business days, but it can be extended if the document needs to be amended.
FI said it has three months to complete its assessment of Borse Dubai's ownership application.
FI will rule on Nasdaq's ownership application on September 27th.
