Police demand action on organized crime
One in three police officers in Sweden say they are being hampered in the fight against organized crime.
The police officers were answering a poll by the Swedish Police Union, which was seen by SVT.
Police say there are several areas that need improvement: they demand better witness protection and the possibility to freeze criminals' assets during an investigation. They also want common registers that all public authorities can access.
The poll also showed police demands for more officers to be trained to work with serious organized crime.
