Oldest man in Sweden dies

Sweden's oldest man, Bengt Helldal, has died at the age of 108, Hallands Nyheter reports.

Helldal worked as a district medical officer in Falkenberg in western Sweden for many years.

He was also a committed golfer, scoring a hole-in-one at the age of 90.

Sweden's oldest living person is Astrid Zachrisson, from Holsbybrunn in southern Sweden. She is 112 years old.
