Krona recovers against euro and dollar
The beleaguered Swedish currency continued its recovery on Monday as the cost of the euro slipped under 11 kronor to 10.99 kronor for the first time since mid-February.
The krona also gained ground on the dollar, which was trading at 8.43 kronor early in the afternoon.
The Stockholm stock exchange also made a positive start to the week with the OMXS index rising by 2.4 percent to 206.3 points.
The index has climbed almost 10 percent in the last week.
