'Priest' hides amphetamines under cassock
A man wearing a priest's cassock tried to smuggle 600 grammes of amphetamines through Trelleborg harbour in southern Sweden on Friday.
The 61-year-old Polish man arrived in Trelleborg on the ferry from Germany clad as a catholic priest complete with full-length cassock.
The man was found to have 600 grammes of amphetamines taped to his body.
"According to our information he was dressed as a priest to mislead us. He must have thought that we were prejudiced," said Anders Hallin, a Skåne customs official to local newspaper Trelleborgs Allehanda.
The man is now suspected to serious drugs smuggling offences.
