The Local rounds up some of our best spring (and summer!) pictures from our Instagram followers.

Spring and summer, the perfect time for island-hopping in Stockholm's archipelago.

The Gröna Lund theme park in Stockholm.

The ‘Beast of the East,' has well and truly hit Stockholm and the rest of Sweden. I have never seen so much snow or experienced such cold temperatures here before. The landscape is something quite magical, with ice covering the majority of water, lakes and sea. And snow covering the land. I captured this image of @gronalund on my commute back home, by boat on the small stretch of water that wasn't frozen over. Bright blue skies, a full moon and the sun even came out to say hello before quickly disappearing. • • What does it look like where you live? • • #stockholm #sweden #beastoftheeast #visitstockholm #visitsweden #cold #ice #landscape #transformed #coldweather #capturingmoments #memories #viewstockholm #instagood #instalike #like4like #wanderlust #travelbloggers #homeawayfromhome #britabroad #photography #nofilter #reflection #iphone7

New Malmö museum will focus on ‘democracy and migration'

Change starts with one small step, whether it be a large or small scale project, it all requires movement. It's a logic that can be applied to starting a new national museum from scratch, especially one with an innovative theme that is going to take several years to come to fruition.
