The bridge will close on November 9th at 1pm, reopening again 24 hours later on November 10th at 1pm. Cars will still be able to cross the bridge.
There will also be maintenance works in place on November 9th at Triangeln in Malmö between 1pm and 10pm, and between Copenhagen Airport and Copenhagen Central Station.
Replacement bus services will be in place, although these will be limited. They'll be running from Malmö C via Hyllie, Copenhagen Airport, Tårnby, Ørestad and Copenhagen Central from Saturday at 1pm until Sunday at 6am.
From 6am until 1pm on Sunday, they'll be starting at Hyllie instead of Malmö C, so travellers wishing to continue their journey in Sweden will need to change at Hyllie.
Local transport company Skånetrafiken recommends that anyone planning a journey over the bridge this weekend plans ahead.
"Leave in good time, especially if you have luggage or will be using Copenhagen Airport," a statement reads.
Buses in Malmö will run as usual, but beware that they may be busier than normal. Travellers can take bus number 6 between Hyllie and Triangeln, changing to bus number 5 between Triangeln and Malmö central, or take a purple Pågatåg train from Hyllie to Malmö C.
