Danes U-turn on Öresund motorway in panic to avoid driving to Sweden

A number of Danes driving to Copenhagen Airport on Monday were left panicking as the last exit before Sweden was closed, sending them on an involuntary trip over the border.

I had done a similar mistake on sweden side in my earlier days, and when I told at the the gate the mistake, they opened a give way gate and let me go back through it. No need to panic and reverse or take u-turn. Just tell at the gate and they will help you to go back safely.

I was also thinking that making a U-turn on the highway it's really dangerous and I can bet that they let you turn at the gates for free.
