With Stockholm's Pride Week in full swing, The Local's Rebecca Jacobs heads on down to the traditional Historic Party to take in the colours, Conchita, and the community.

Pride Week guest of honour Conchita Wurst performed her Eurovision-winning hit Rise Like A Phoenix for the finale of the historic party on Wednesday.
 
Wurst had tears in her eyes after her performance as the crowd cheered in Pride Park.  
 
 
The historic party celebrates LGBT history with popular songs and prominent figures from Sweden's gay community giving speeches. 
 
For those still keen to get a taste of Stockholm pride, Pride Park will showcase the folk festival, drag and burlesque party, and rainbow party later in the week.
