Man believed murdered in Gothenburg

A man was found dead on a street in Gothenburg on Saturday morning. Police believe he was murdered.

The man was lying in a pool of blood on Ångpannegatan in the Hisingen district at around 6am on Saturday.

"Ten or fifteen people have been taken in for questioning," said Anders Magnér of Gothenburg police.

The dead man is so far unidentified, and police do not yet know how he was killed.

"He was lying in a big pool of blood," said police spokesman Johan Ljung. Police say that there are several illegal night clubs in the area in which the body was found.
