A 65-year-old German man has died after being run over by a cyclist in Karlskrona in southern Sweden. The victim was knocked unconscious by the cyclist as he was walking across a bicycle track, Blekinge Läns Tidning reports.
He was taken to hospital in Lund with serious head injuries where he died on Wednesday after several hours spent in a critical condition.
Traffic police are viewing the incident as a tragic incident and say they have no reason to suspect the cyclist of any wrongdoing.
