Clients find IT consultants need a reboot

Lawyers and accountants in Sweden are praised by their clients while IT consultants promise more than they can deliver, according to a new survey.

The findings are part of an investigation of companies the business services sector conducted the quality measurement organization Svenskt Kvalitetsindex (SKI).

The study is based on interviews with 3,500 interviews with customers to companies in the legal, IT, staffing, and accounting fields.

The report gives accountants rankings similar to those they received ten years ago.

The most talented accountants are to be found at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Ernst& Young, according to the report.

Staffing companies beat out IT firms when it comes to service, but both received about the same ranking overall.

Business lawyers were ranked the highest, with little variation between reviews for large and small firms.
