This is now borderline ridiculous on how tone-deaf the government is on cost of living impact. A household of 2 - both working with average incomes. No salary increases (cause it's all talk and no action), no allowances, no social benefits, no electricity rebates, no tax-breaks, no respite on increasing home loan rates (65% increase on monthly repayments since Sept 22). Just increased prices on medicine, food, utilities and more - as though money is falling from the sky.
