I am a Belgian citizen, and in January 2026 I will be 5 years in Stockholm. I bought an apartment here and I intend to ask for Swedish citizenship next year. Double citizenship is accepted in Belgium.
I speak Swedish, not fluently, but enough. Reading and writing is much easier.
I hope it will be a fast procedure as a member of the European Union.
I am freelance travelguide in Scandinavia. A Swedish passport is interesting for me.
