Ryanair often review its routes, but the cause of this round of cuts is a little different. Ryanair is suffering from the legacy of Boeing’s 737 Max problems. Boeing is way behind on projected deliveries, especially the 737 Max 8 & Max 10. Some older aircraft have been kept in service longer than planned, but O’Leary estimates that Ryanair are at least 30 aircraft short of their planned summer 2025 capacity, and this shortage is going to continue for the foreseeable future.

I wonder whether fees and taxes are the real reason why RyanAir is cutting back on some flights. They have trouble having their ordered Boeing planes delivered and some routes may not be that profitable anyway.
