Sweden plans to send foreign citizens to prison in home countries

The government has submitted a proposal to parliament which would allow Sweden to transfer foreign citizens with prison sentences over to their home countries, in some cases without their consent, to carry out their sentences there.

reat to see how Sweden is seriously tackling its issues ?? Wanted to move to Sweden anyway, but this is really attractive. Especially compared to this insane madness here in Germany.

If “in 2021, 148 prisoners were transferred from Sweden to another country, 13 of them to another Nordic country and 73 to another EU country. None were transferred to countries outside the EU”: where were transferred the other 62 prisoners?
