Myself being an immigrant, I would also like to celebrate my religious festivals in the open but I don’t then why Eid? It is not a Swedish festival. Having said that, those who come with work permit and have university education should always be allowed but not asylum seekers. We already have enough.

High immigration isn’t always beneficial, but current decisions harm those who integrate and contribute. As a well-travelled person, everywhere in the world, there's a big difference between asylum seekers in mass numbers and lawful labor migrants. The latter follow rules and are welcomed. I wish a wise person can pause and ask: who is truly causing issues, and who is affected by new policies? It’s disheartening when the real troublemakers remain untouched.

Hi Art - that might be your opinion. But there are those who believe otherwise. Some for example might want to maintain Swedish culture over and above all other considerations. I'm sure you might feel the same way if your home country had a small population and was being swamped with foreigners. Remember also that if this high-immigration experiment fails, it will be impossible to reverse. You should watch the opening scenes of the movie Bladerunner a few times. Jack.

You have done a great job to even try and explain this undemocratic yet again government paradigm on immigration law. In all reality , if one has contributed to society , made a life , then irregardless of law , all should be allowed to stay...my opinion.
