A Swedish bus has been evacuated in Norway after suspicions were raised that one of its passengers was carrying a bomb. The Swebus Express service from Oslo to Stockholm, carrying sixty Swedish and Norwegian passengers, was stopped on Sunday afternoon at Askim, near the border with Sweden. It appears that passengers had become concerned by the behaviour of one of their number.

Police in Bro, northwest of Stockholm, are investigating the death of a baby found by a footpath near the town's station. Investigators are awaiting DNA results which they could show whether the baby is related to another dead child found in the area two years ago.

A 25 year old Swede died and another man was injured following a shooting at a nightclub in Malmö in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police are holding a 40 year old Danish man on suspicion of the murder.
